Belong. Grow. Multiply.
Belong. Grow. Multiply.
As members of the body of Christ, those who believe and follow Him belong to the One who chose them before the foundation of the world. Belonging to Christ shapes how we live, it calls us into growth, as God forms us into maturity through His Word and Spirit. And as we grow, He invites us to participate in His work by proclaiming the gospel and making disciples, trusting Him to multiply what He alone can bring to life.
Victory Through Christ’s Salvation
Victory does not come through self-determination when battling any form of sin. Our victory is assured through what Christ has already done for us at the Cross. It is important to remember that Jesus faced every temptation we face, yet through obedience to the Father and submission to His will, He overcame what we could not—sin and death.
As Christians, we are called to rely on Him, yet so often we do not. This is not a condemnation; it is simply the reality of living in a fallen world. That reality is why intentionality and spiritual clarity are so important. In today’s world, it is easy to seek false comfort in movies, music, travel, social media, and material things. We are surrounded by pleasures the enemy would gladly use to turn our eyes and ears away from Christ. Wrestling the flesh requires spiritual maturity, which is why time spent in Bible study and prayer is so essential.
Temptation does not equal defeat, but it does reveal where we are lacking. Spiritual maturity requires intention, and when that intention does not include time in study and prayer, enemy lies are quick to fill the void. Christ desires your heart and paid the ultimate price with His death on the Cross. Thankfully, He was raised and overcame the enemy on our behalf so that we may spend eternity with Him. This calls for obedience to His will and faith in the quiet moments when the enemy’s lies speak the loudest. Follow Him faithfully, and the crown of life is promised to those who endure with faith.
