A call to the weary and steadfast alike — to stand firm in grace, endure by faith, and shine as light in a darkened world.

All that we build is for His glory alone.

Faithful Endurance:
A Letter to the Discouraged Church

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” - Galatians 2:20

Beloved in Christ,

Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. I write not as one who has mastered endurance, but as a fellow pilgrim who clings daily to Christ. I know many of you are weary. The days feel darker, the battle unrelenting, and discouragement presses hard. Yet hear this: you are not alone, and Christ will not let you go.

The Call to Endure

The Word exhorts us: “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful” (Hebrews 10:23). Our confidence rests not in ourselves, but in God’s faithfulness.

Jesus warned that in the last days lawlessness would increase and the love of many would grow cold. Yet He added: “the one who endures to the end will be saved” (Matthew 24:13). Endurance is not easy, but it is certain for those who belong to Christ. For He is both the author and finisher of our faith (Hebrews 12:2).

Encouragement for the Weary

Your labor is not in vain. “Be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord” (1 Corinthians 15:58).

Your suffering is not forever. “The sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed” (Romans 8:18).

Your weakness is not fatal. “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness” (2 Corinthians 12:9).

Your hope is not misplaced. “We have this as a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul” (Hebrews 6:19).

The Way Forward

Beloved, stay in the Word — “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path” (Psalm 119:105). Stay in prayer — “In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God” (Philippians 4:6). Stay in fellowship — “encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near” (Hebrews 10:25). Stay on mission — “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations” (Matthew 28:19).

We live in urgent days. The time is short, the midnight cry draws near. But fear not: Christ is with you, Christ is in you, Christ will come for you. Nothing can separate you from His love (Romans 8:35–39)

Final Word

Stand firm, dear brothers and sisters. Lift your eyes to the joy set before you. When He returns, or when you stand before Him, you will not regret one moment of faithfulness. You will hear the words: “Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your master” (Matthew 25:23).

“Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” (Psalm 119:105)
